Thanks to those who joined us for our previous housing policy workshops. We hope to see you at our fourth workshop next Wednesday, May 21!
When: Wednesday, May 21, 6:00-8:00pm
Where: Old South Church, Gordon Library, 645 Boylston Street, Boston MA 02116
Roosevelt @ Boston is honored to welcome our expert speaker, Larry Field from the MA Department of Housing and Community Development. Larry will speak with us about the impact government has on the price and supply of housing in Greater Boston focusing particularly on local and state levels. He will also address possible roles the government can play in encouraging development of unsubsidized yet affordable housing (i.e., moderately priced workforce housing).
Please RSVP, so we are prepared with snacks and other goodies. Pre-event readings and resources are also located on our Eventbrite page!
The conversation continues a 6-month process of understanding and evaluating housing policy in Greater Boston, which will culminate in a member-driven, crowd-sourced policy proposal. We need your ideas on this important project!
Fondly, your Greater Boston City Network’s Core Team:
Alex, Jeanne, Gavin, Eric, and Erik
