Next Tuesday 10/14 – Join us to discuss law enforcement accountability

We hope you can join us for our new policy series on law enforcement accountability. The first event is next week, Tuesday, October 14. RSVP TODAY!

The series will explore our premise:
In light of the recent, tragic events in Ferguson, Missouri and coverage of issues related to militarization of domestic law enforcement around the country, we believe police forces should be more accountable and connected to the people they serve.

During the first event, we will hear from Jessie Rossman, Staff Attorney at the ACLU of Massachusetts, who will go into further detail on the ACLU’s actions involving SWAT team transparency and legal loopholes. We will also provide background information on police militarization and SWAT teams.
