Happy summer, everyone! Roosevelt @ Boston is powering forward with our housing policy series; thank you to all who brought their ideas and energy to our June synthesis event.
We hope you’ll all be able to join us to wrap up the series in July. Mark your calendars now: save the date for Wednesday, July 16.
Now that we know WTF zoning is, it’s time to put our work into action. Join us July 16 to discuss these ideas and move them forward!
At the July event, we’ll hear from our members about the results of their policy research currently underway. We’ll evaluate their proposed solutions to key drivers of high housing costs in Greater Boston, then vote on the solutions to include in our housing policy action plan.
Members are addressing:
- zoning reform
- market incentives to build middle income housing
- Boston as a high value housing market
We will also be laying the groundwork for our next policy series – come prepared to discuss what policy issues in Greater Boston you want Roosevelt to tackle next!
Email us with any questions, and Happy Independence Day!
Fondly, your Roosevelt Boston Core Team:
Erik, Jeanne, Gavin, Eric, and Alex
